Open Studio at Art Life is your invitation to walk in, slow down, and dive into art.
No experience required. All ages are welcome. No reservation needed.
Come for two hours. Stay present. Make something you’re proud of.
How Open Studio Works

The Art Life is always available to those who are looking for a space to create. Open Studio sessions available daily throughout posted open hours.
Open Studio is first come, first served, and availability is based on studio space and available artwork.
CHOOSE YOUR CREATIVE EXPERIENCE
You have a few ways to create at Art Life.
🎨 CREATE – $35 for every 2 hours
Have your own creative idea or simply want to spend some time making art?
Use the studio space to work on your project and enjoy time surrounded by creativity.
🏺 PAINT A LOCALLY MADE PIECE – Price varies by piece.
Choose from pottery and artwork made locally by Jay and Art Life artists and members.
Select your piece, choose your colors, and make it your own. Painted pieces can be taken home the same day.
🏺 GLAZE A LOCALLY MADE POTTERY PIECE – Price varies by piece and includes glazing and firing.
Choose a locally made pottery piece and create your own glazed finish.
Your piece will be fired at Art Life and will be ready for pickup approximately 10–15 days after your visit.
For pottery you want to use with food or beverages, we recommend the glazed and fired option.
CAN I WALK IN DURING A CLASS?
Yes!
Art Life welcomes walk-ins during other posted studio hours as well.
However, classes and workshops may be taking place during these times. When an instructor is teaching, they may not be readily available to assist with your Open Studio project.
You are still welcome to create independently, choose a piece to paint or glaze, or ask whether there is an available seat in a scheduled class.
Class participation is subject to availability and follows the normal class pricing.
